How It Works Select an IT category, enter the specific device or context, and the generator creates a structured prompt designed for professional IT operations.

Example: investigate a VLAN connectivity issue

Select Network Troubleshooting and enter: “Lab access switch; hosts in VLAN 20 cannot reach their gateway after a trunk change; exact model and software version to be supplied.” The tool inserts your context into a troubleshooting template. It does not inspect the switch, run an AI model or diagnose the cause.

Before using the draft, add the expected behavior, observed symptom, recent change and sanitized diagnostic output. Ask for read-only checks first, an explanation of each result and the evidence needed to distinguish a VLAN mismatch from a routing problem.

Choose the right template

Network Troubleshooting requests a diagnostic sequence. Security Policy Creation produces a policy outline for your review. Automation Scripting asks for a configuration-backup script. Vendor & SLA Negotiation drafts a request for service information. None of these templates certifies a configuration, policy or contract.

Review before using an answer

A detailed prompt cannot guarantee a correct AI answer. Check device commands against vendor documentation for the exact software version; test proposed changes in a lab and prepare a rollback. Replace passwords, tokens, customer identifiers and confidential configurations with descriptive placeholders before sharing context with an external service.

A useful follow-up is: “Which facts support this diagnosis, what else could explain it, and what read-only test distinguishes those alternatives?” Reject invented command options and ask for missing information instead of accepting guessed settings.
